After a 4-0 victory against Liverpool last week, Leeds under 13s were feeling confident going in to Saturdays game against Scarbourgh at home.

Stephen Smith, Ben Palmer, Jason Prior, Tyrell Walwyn, Piteu Crouz,

Leeds started as the stronger of the two sides with all of the first 10 minutes been played in the Scarbourgh half, with Leeds winning every challenge and throw in, this encouraged some terrific passing by the Leeds under 13s, this encouraged Leeds in to applying more pressure on the Scarbourgh defence.

The first break came in the 15th minute with a perfectly waited ball into the goal mouth by Daniel Blacker for Joshua Jepson to strike the ball into the back of the net.

Leeds continued to control the game from the strikers right back to the defence, Scarbourgh came very close from a corner, as Brandon Linley parried the ball away with Daniel Meston there to clear the ball to safety.

It was in the 23rd minute that Scarbourgh equalized from a free kick, Leeds responded to this playing some precise quality football, 10 minutes later Leeds were awarded a  free kick them selves  allowing Jason Prior to connect  putting Leeds in the lead going in to the break..

Leeds started the second half pressurizing Scarbourgh from the off , they were rewarded in the first 5 minutes with some wonderful passing from Marcus Day allowing Joshua Jepson to net his second.

Leeds were then awarded a penalty in the 15th minute, Ben Palmer stepped up to the spot and buried the ball in the back of the net.

Three minutes later Jason Prior put a perfectly weighted ball in to the path of Piteu Crouz for him to net his first of the game.

With timely substitutions from Matt and Phil this allowed Leeds fresh legs, this showed 3 minutes later when Joshua Jepson scrambled the ball over the line to make it 6-1 giving Joshua Jepson his hat tick.

Five minutes later Jason Prior struck the ball with power and precision giving him his second of the game.

The final two goals came from Piteu Crouz giving him his hat trick also.

The final score LEEDS 9 - SCARBOURGH 1

The score line does not detract the continuous efforts made by Scarbourgh; this was a well fought game with some wonderful football played by both sides.
