A tight opening with both sides having to deal with the wind and cold. Wetherby opened the scoring with a well taken goal from Gemma.

Leeds soon settled down with them working the ball from defence to attack. We equalised with a goal from Georgia. Our keeper was controlling her area well with a solid defence in front of her, this gave us a good base to play some good football and the goals just seemed to flow. Sarah kept plugging away and got her reward eventually scoring a hat-trick of well taken goals. Georgia added another one and lauren finished off a solid performance, Gemma scored again this time fro us as she had played the first half for Wetherby to finish off a 7-1 win.
