Rules and other relevant information

The U14's & U15's are playing in League competitions. At U14 the top two will play off in each league. Semi Finals will be NE winners v SW runners-up an SW winners v NE runners-up.

At U15 the same format will apply to the Yorkshire Trophy. The Yorkshire Plate semi finals will be between the teams finishing third and fourth in their leagues for example NE3 v SW4 and SW3 v NE4.

Finals will be played at venues to be decided towards the season's end - probably Pocklington.

RULE 1
Matches should be played in their designated month. Two dates should be offered by the Home Team. Early fixture arranging is recommended.
RULE 2
3 points for a win, 2 for a draw and 1 for a match played and lost. The losing point is to encourage teams to play all their matches. Final league positions will be detemined on Points, goal difference, goals scored and result between the teams in the league fixture. If still undetermined an alternative will be arranged by the committee. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs will be used to obtain results in semi-finals and finals. A result must be obtained at the first meeting - there is no provision for replays.
RULE 3
At both U14 & U15 a size 5 ball will be used.
RULE 4
If colours clash the home team has the right to play in their usual kit. In finals both teams should change unless agreed otherwise by both teams.
